Suite : Guest Room Supplies and Position

In Bedroom

Behind the door :- 

  • A DND card, reverse of which may be ‘please make up my room’ card.
  • Room rates for different kinds of rooms offered, in a frame.
  • A detailed map of fire exits is ideally affixed.
  • A notice reminding guests of the safe-deposit facilities at cashier’s desk.

At the writing table :- 

  • A guest stationary folder with pen and pencil alongside.
  • Tent cards giving information about special events and shows in hotel.
  • An ashtray
  • A candle, a candle holder and a matchbox.
  • Hotel brochure.
  • A waste paper basket, next to writing table.
  • A chair with back rest.

On the bed side tale :-

  • Telephone and service directory.
  • A note pad and pencil beside phone.
  • An ashtray and matchbox.
  • Breakfast knob card.
  • Pillow menu card with various types of pillows offered by the Hotel.
  • Local telephone directory.
  • A Bible, Gita or Quran must be placed in drawer.
  • A channel music panel may be affixed.
  • A bed-side lamp.
  • A Good night kit, containing ear plus, eye pad.
  • Two 500 ml water bottles on coasters.

On the coffee table :-

  • An ash tray and match box.
  • House magazine or tourist magazine and a newspaper.
  • Room service menu card.
  • A letter of greeting, wishing guests o special holidays or birthdays.

In the drawer and cupboard :-

  • A sewing kit.
  • Laundry bags and list of laundry facilities.
  • A yoga kit.
  • Plastic utility bags.
  • Clothes hangers.
  • A fragnance sachet hanger.
  • Guest room safe is usually affixed.
  • A Care/ Grooming kit.

Below the luggage rack :-

  • Shoe mitt or shoe kit.

At the dressing table :-

  • An upholstered stool under the dressing table.
  • A mirror is mounted on the wall.
  • Comb and brushes are placed in drawer.

On the bed :- 

  • A mattress, with a mattress protector.
  • Bed Sheets, night spread, pillow, blanket and bed spread.

In the television cabinet :-

  • Satellite network.
  • Remote Control.

In the mini-bar :-

  • Mineral water bottles.
  • Ice trays.
  • Beverages such as liquor (miniatures, beer canes or pints) and soft drinks.
  • Lemon wedges
  • Snacks like biscuits, chocolates, assorted nuts, chargeable basis.

On the mini-bar :-

  • A tray with tea bags, sachets of coffee powder, milk powder and sugar
  • A couple of saucers, cups and spoons.
  • A kettle or/and coffee maker.
  • An ice-bucket

In the bathroom 

  • A full length mirror at the entrance.
  • A bath tub and a bath mat
  • A water closet
  • A tissue holder with tissue roll, affixed on the wall.
  • A pot pourri, in a bowl.
  • Small/ miniature indoor plant.

On or near vanity counter

  • Monogrammed soaps, shampoo bottles, moisturizers, cologne, after-shave lotion and bath gels.
  • Shower caps, gargle glasses, tissue box, razor blades, dental kit and shaving kit.
  • A mirror mounted on the wall with appropriate lighting facility.
  • A sani-bin beside the WC

On the towel rack

  • Bath towels and bath sheets on the towel rack.
  • Hand towels and face towels.
  • Wash cloths.
  • A bath mat

In addition to the standard Guest room Supplies, a Suite had :-

  • Kitchenette
  • Dining Table
  • Separate TV Credenza
  • Extra Washroom
